Like I said in my last post, the path to getting everything set for my upcoming poetry chapbook + soundtrack, Mask: Shadow, has been a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. Despite a soul-swallowing day job and a time-sucking college course, I am still on track, more or less.
I have revealed the cover for The Consciousness Conspiracy (Remix) vol. 1, which I want to be available for free ASALA (as soon as life allows). By promoting a free book, my goals are to attract readers and start building an audience for the Mask series.
This sounds simple but takes a lot of time and effort to do it right. I released the original version of The Consciousness Conspiracy ten years ago, and it just vanished in digital obscurity. And while I may not have enough resources to ensure success, I have the knowledge and ambition to give it my best attempt this time around.
So I am writing ad copy, making videos, doing market research, learning about online retailer algorithms – you know, all the things that “writers” do. You can see how complicated it all is from the picture below. LMAO That’s just for the free book!
