Welcome to the second installment of this blog series about the making of my upcoming poetry chapbook + soundtrack, Masks: Shadow. To start from the beginning at part 1, click here.

In related news, I am super stoked to have been selected for the Horror Writers Association Mentorship Program. Chad Hensley, professional speculative poet, is in my corner! He is going to help me fine tune a few of the poems for the book and give me some pointers on how to get into paying markets. The goal is to get me some cred before the Halloween release of Masks. Next post, I will explain a little about the mythos that Masks will start to reveal. Feel free to follow this blog – also link up with me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and/or Tumblr.
