How great is God Who gave all life,
Whose light shines bright through pain and strife,
Who is eternal mercy, kind,
the greatest love there is to find.
How great is God, there is none high
as our Almighty, always nigh
as in the night, so in the day,
He breathes and blows our hurt away.
How great is God—the start and end—
He so loves us that He did send
His Son to wash away our sin;
now Heaven’s gates shall let us in.
