Out of the darkness, risen from the ashes … Joseph VanBuren creates weird speculative tales showcasing the reality of resurrection and bringing a light against legion through poetry, music, meditations, hip hop, and more.
JVB’s work has been published in several literary magazines and anthologies. He spent a year as the editor-in-chief of the literary journal Confluence and has edited over thirty books. He has written, recorded, and produced hundreds of songs, opened up for national touring acts, and even had one of his tracks played on The Colbert Report.
Originally from the Hudson Valley region of New York, JVB now lives in the Midwest. Recent projects include his album Signs and Wonders, his book The Peace of God: Mindfulness Meditation Devotions for Finding Peace in a Busy, Overwhelming World, and his bucket list collab with members of teh Wu-Tang Clan, 36 Chambers Forever.
